I have been working at Enterprise Products full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Entrepreneurial environment with opportunities for advancement. Open to suggestions regarding streamlining processess and procedures. Leadership listens to new ideas. Where others are cutting back the workforce, we continue to grow in terms of $$ and footprint. Competitive benefits.

    Cons

The company doesn't sponsor the communities where our assets are located and this would also help with branding of the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I'd like to see my senior management pull the department together more often for trainings and continued development opportunities. Overall, very happy with senior management and their leadership qualities. Great company to work for in the midstream services industry.

Management systems and safety culture are progressing nicely.

I have been working at Enterprise Products full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Leadership recognizes hard workers, rewards those who improve the overall systems and compensates well those who strive to make the company the best it can be.

    Cons

Downtown office can be political but there are lots of options. Operations in the field and in the control center do not have as many upward mobile positions and sometimes do not get as much credit as they deserve.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Always remember who is making the oil move and pay attention to those who are shift workers and putting their health on the line, continue to compensate them well when they are performing well.

Fast-paced, friendly, professional, and hospitable towards interns. Pay was good and opportunities were not limited.

    Cons

Increasing bureaucracy, occasional competing interests from higher-ups

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure to not micro-manage! Also, more emphasis on employee relations and company culture could help. Overall, I still had a good experience.

    Pros

Great company to work for overall. They are an honest business who hire people with integrity and a good work ethics.

    Cons

Since the company has grown quite rapidly in the past couple years, they still seem to have a small business mentality in areas. This is especially true with HR, I think.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get HR more involve with employees and making sure their needs/wants are met. Help employees know they are valued and appreciated.
