    Pros

Great friends all about the same age (mostly recent college grads)

If you have a trust fund and can make it to having your own location or being an area manager it may be better???

    Cons

    Ummm everything????

They say that it's like getting your MBA without going back to school. Well I'm getting my MBA right now and I can tell you I have drawn upon no experience from my time at enterprise.

The pay is next to nothing.

The hours are long and most management will ask you to flub time cards so they don't get in trouble with the hours. They actually just settled a law suit for this very fact that.

    Run away fast!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

You will learn how to multi task and work in a faced paced environment. There is a 50/50 shot you will get a decent manager who will share knowledge about effective management with you.

    Cons

Basically everything, the first month won't seem terrible but after that you will realize you have been brainwashed into thinking you are important. Most managers only care about the bottom which can really ruin morale and team effectiveness. Prepare to work 60 hour weeks while dealing with insults from customers and overall exhaustion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees they are the ones working the daily grind. Only focusing on a paycheck will not lead to effective management and your employees will get burnt out and leave. Employees need to feel their opinions are being heard and are taken seriously.

    Pros

Once you leave, companies will seek you out just based on having the company on your resume. You also learn invaluable management, conflict management and sales skills.

    Cons

Worked 60-90 hours a week for little pay. My subordinates ended up making more money per hour than I did because I was salary. Strictly hierachical structure. Mostly made up of ex frat boys. Cleaning cars in a suit in snow, hail, 90+ degrees. Glorified pyramid scheme.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Adapt to changing employee needs to attract and retain top talent.

    Pros

You can learn a lot about business and sales in a short time, you also quickly learn the difference between good and poor management, mostly poor.

    Cons

Crappy work life balance, typically play favorites, good sales people that are crappy managers get promoted.

    Pros

Employer paid meals, customer service skills, and culture and life long friendships gained

    Cons

Work/life balance, low pay, promotion is based off a verbal test. High turnover, offices need more staffing. More about thw numbers and leads to Unethical behavior.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better staffed. Better pay. More about the process and less about the numbers.

    Pros

work with some cool people. definitely will get your resume noticed after you work there for 6 months, teaches you how to work hard and sales fundamentals.

    Cons

hours are horrible, close to 60 hours per week. pay sucks. micromanaged like crazy. dealing with retail sucks. not ethical; in order to be promoted you have to lie on a daily basis to customers telling them you need the car insurance, in order to meet your sales quota. you are almost physically abused, as you are not allowed to sit during work. Very physical demanding and requires you to be outside in a suit and tie under all weather conditions for prolonged periods of time.
