Pros – Envestnet is a young company that has experienced quite a bit of growth during the last few years. As a result, there are many opportunities to grow with the company. If you are a team player, motivated, and not afraid to approach management you'll be treated as an asset. While there are some departments that hire externally, the vast majority of them in the Chicago office prefer to bring someone through the ranks.

Cons – There isn't much of a focus on development within a position because the workload is high. Pay could be better and sometmies appears to vary wildly from person to person in the same department. The benefits leave something to be desired (PTO, 401k).

Advice to Senior Management – Continue to improve upon what you are doing, make the company a more attractive place to work for current employees, and don't be afraid to have honest discussions with employees about the work environment

Pros – Great colleagues, colaborative work environment, great customers. You really do provide a value-added service to your customers, regardless of whether they're internal or external.

Pay is good, but rank and file employees really earn it.

The company knows when and how to let off steam!

Cons – "Strategic" at Envestnet really means the flavor of the day and thus "strategy" can change on a moments notice. Often these changes are not seemingly well reasoned and almost never communicated effectively.

Rank and file employees often have to deliver on promises made by others who have no concept of the consequences of their promises. (why you earn every dime they will pay you)

Pros – Transparent and supportive management
Lots to learn if u choose to
Best people onboard
Friendly environment

Cons – Overseas conference calls almost always adjusted to US timings, India employees need to stay back after office hours. Could be 50-50
