    Self Starters Dream Job

Product Development (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

ProsThis company truly rewards employees who are self starters and bring drive and work ethic to the table.
    Engaged Mgmt team

ConsIf you expect things to be handed to you or a formal Merrill Lynch-like training program, you are out of luck. If you are not a self starter or not afraid to ask questions and seek answers, this might not be a good fit.

Advice to Senior ManagementFor younger employees, put more of a training program in place to get them started off correctly.

If you are a performer, this is the right place to grow.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsEnvestnet will always acknowledge the people who really perform well. This company does not need a techie who has the aspiration to run behind the rocket science. You should have the expertise in both domain and technology , this is the right place to excel. The excellent leadership of Envestnet will definitely take this company to the next level.

ConsThe current workplace in TRV is really congested. I'm pretty sure that it will be changed when we move to the new state-of-art facility

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep up the good work and work hard to take this great company to the next level

Senior Member In Engineering Division (Current Employee) Thiruvananthapuram (India)

ProsMy experience at Envestnet in Engineering for last 10+ years has been refreshing always and makes me feel good with a company that believes in and trusts their employee's.

*Opportunity - I have got the needed space and creative opportunities to grow within the organization.
*Innovations - Innovative ideas are always welcomed by supportive leadership. You can take best out of yourself and you get good support even for individual initiatives.
*Leadership - Great thought leaders guiding the team from front. True enablers.
*Visibility - You have a easily approachable higher management and they keep the teams close to them.
*Great Work Place - An environment allowing even people with less experience to get going. Leadership gives responsibility in your hands - a true recognition of your ability.

Cons-Lots of learning opportunities, but very limited formal training provided. Again, advantage for those are self-motivated to learn.
-Challenges in working closely with geographically distributed teams.
-Large compliance requirements, that brings in more controls which sometimes affect the flexibility and agility.

Advice to Senior ManagementPresent situation of Envestnet is very exciting and at the same time challenging. With geographically distributed teams of highly talented people, there is a need on focus for providing a much effective collaborative environment to help various teams to work together, explore and agree on outcomes by providing a common ground for moving forward.
Keep up the great work, Continue to innovate and Attract more talents.

Proud to be part of this company with great leadership having clear vision and a team that works together as a family

Product Development (Current Employee) Thiruvananthapuram (India)

ProsIt is really nice to work with a true product company that nourishes creative ideas and supports the implementation of ideas with thoughtful guidance. The work culture is really professional with good empowerment and clear ownership for different levels of Managers. This explains why I am able to work for more than 12 years with many members having similar levels of long term association with the company

ConsIt would be challenging to keep up with all the activities happening across different teams at different geographical locations.

Advice to Senior ManagementIt would be good to improve communication with different teams across the globe, so that all the members are fully up to speed with what is happening.
