    Pros

Coworkers are are the best part of working here, though there is a lot of back stabbing.

    Cons

Male dominated hole with no room for females in positions of power.
Inappropriate physical relationships between multiple male managers/supervisors and their female subordinates .
Management participates in and allows continued sexual harassment against female employees.
Employees who speak out against ongoing behavior are bullied and run out of the company.

    Pros

Yearly raise. Relaxed atmosphere. Annual performance review.

    Cons

Too many meetings. Too much red tape. Micromanaging Managers Too much theoretical head knowledge but in reality they don't practice what they preach. Performance review only allows you to get a 2% raise.

I have been working at Esterline full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

As other people have said, nice area with lots of outdoor activities.
They don’t check credentials during the hiring process, sounds crazy but true

    Cons

Only chance of being promoted (or not laid off) is to be related to or be best friends with someone in management.
Multiple people in management rent homes to subordinates insuring they will never be laid off.
30% of labor is dedicated to rework trying to make parts appear to meet specification.
Competent employees are bullied, denigrated, harassed, & gotten rid (fired or laid off) for exposing the incompetence of friends and family of management.
Management uses fear to manage the majority of subordinates, e.g. you will be fired or laid off if you don’t xyz.
No raises, no cost of living increases for non-family & friends.
Getting continuing education paid for through parent company is an impossible labyrinth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want the company to survive, you need to purge the incompetent friends and family. Otherwise the company will not survive as it exists now. As a few others have said, it is in all reality, most likely too late to recover.
