Awesome group of people to work for and with, really believed in the mission of "changing lives" I loved my time with Everest WLA

    Cons

Long hours, and long commute for me, but not to much to complain about, its unfortunate that the issues could not be resolved! This was a great place to work

I have been working at Everest College part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The staff is organized and friendly, the course curriculum is up to standard. The Career Services try their best to make sure that students with perfect attendance have jobs upon completion of their course. In short Everest is student and community friendly.

    Cons

Dealing with at risk students. Those who may want to drop out as soon as they come in.

    Advice to Management

Everest should continue reaching out to those communities where young people think they do not have hope. This will go a long way of fulfilling the slogan: "We in Everest do care and do change lives. These communities are Culver City, Crenshaw, Manchester and south central

I worked at Everest College full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits, excellent people. The education staff is stable and very caring. Chairpeople work very hard every single day to ensure students have 100% opportunity to succeed. This campus has earned Parthenon status, a recognition of excellence within the company. Both upstairs and downstairs people work tirelessly to stay on that level.

    Cons

In my five-plus years, we went through a lot of deans. This is not a negative reflection on the school necessarily, but I can think of at least five. The newest one starts at the end of May 2014.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. You give your best every day and it shows.

  8. Fantastic!

    Pros

I have been with Everest for 3 months now. I started as a full time Director of First Impressions and have recently been promoted to a Student Finance Planner. I am more than please with the staff here. Good, hard working people. Each and every one of us is team oriented and achieve goals together.

    Cons

There are days where it is very overwhelming. Sometimes employees forget how many different people DOFI's really answer to. Therefore, the front desk can get VERY busy.

    Advice to Management

Loving it! Keep up the good work!

    Pros

At any time the curve ball of is thrown your way, other staff members and Professors are willing and able to chip in to assist. The Assistant Deans, ASCs and other support staff are extremely helpful in making sure the online Professor is knowledgeable, has all the resources and training to ensure students have a successful course and institutional compliance is met.

    Cons

The discussion areas are a bit antiquated. Following discussion threads can get long.
