I worked at Experian full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great people. Great company to work for. Great benefits. I was there for 8 years.

    Cons

none really that I can think of

    Advice to Management

I had a couple of managers in the eight years I was there. They always showed concern for their team and made good decisions

    I worked at Experian full-time

    Pros

Great management. Great co-workers. Definitely understands the idea of work/life balance. Management treats the employees extremely well and there's no office politics.

    Cons

They have an old school way of doing things. Really need to update some of their processes. Not much more I can say because it's simply a great place to work for.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to allow some of the employees who are working overseas in the foreign division to communicate more effectively and in a timely manner. Some of the employees overseas can use a little more training on phone etiquette.

I worked at Experian as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Role / Team - Even though I was a contractor I always felt like a part of the team - I had the option to be included in all discussions, plannings, and even when interviewing other candidates - All teammates were very talented and skilled in their role - On the front end of the application we worked with all the newest technologies - Workflow was standard Agile Scrum with 2 week sprints. The Scrum Master did a great job flushing out the story requirements and kept us on track. - This company cares about high quality output and allocates the time to uphold a high test coverage Culture - Open desk environment - Sat in an offsite co-working space in one big suite - Comfortable dress code (t-shirt and jeans) - Everyday the team had lunch together - Anytime we stayed late they provided us with high quality food - Very respectable towards different religions Management - Rank is checked at the door. They do not carry themselves by title but by role. - Gave everyone the freedom and empowerment to complete their tasks - Wanted us to be there for the long haul and emphasized to bite off only what you could chew and to not burn out - Always available, I never had the sense they were too busy to answer any of my questions

    Cons

    - No standing desks - No free lunch everyday - Sometimes the office would get crowded with vendors and other presentations - Back end team at the time was under staffed (poor guys)

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work and allow that culture to flourish.

I worked at Experian full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Management here truly believes in work life balance. They pride themselves on meeting all the needs of the Technical Support team form allowing members to work from home while caring for the occasional sick child home with the flu to understanding needing time off for parents having terminal illnesses. The Technical Support team spends lots of time together outside of work which, to me, created more of a family atmosphere while at work. Even the Vice President and manager of Customer Support would roll up their sleeves and jump head first in so day to day issues. This in itself was refreshing and motivated the team to work just a little harder to meet customer goals.

    Cons

The only con is, I no longer work there because I had to move back to SC. I truly love Passport Health Communications.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the god work.

I worked at Experian full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits are superb, they have them all. Time-off policies are great. Promotions are not bad.

    Cons

They tend to get top heavy with leadership, and have many lay-offs to balance that.

    Advice to Management

A cut back in leadership would be an improvement.
