    Pros

Overall good company, strives to do the right thing for the employee Lots of opportunity due to breadth of business Expansionist policy through acquisition kept the company at the front of new markets

    Cons

Taken a quarterly focus on numbers to extremes - no medium term planning. Every decision was either quarterly driven or alternatively long term, rather fluffy "strategic initiatives" Some very risk adverse people, especially in the Nottingham HQ and the more traditional credit risk core business units. Could be stifling.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the 18 month time horizon and drive towards getting results over this period. Set the new business initiatives free from the constraints of the core business units to prevent suffocation.

Current Employee - Email Marketing Account Executive in Dublin, Dublin (Ireland)

I have been working at Experian full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Medical insurance - Annual salary increase - Bonus statement - Working with important world-known brands and clients

    Cons

    - There is not a strong team-working environment - Your manager may not be working in the same office as you - There may be little opportunity to grow into a manager position - Day-to-day work gets monotonous

    Advice to Management

    - Should be more aware of when employees have no work to do throughout several days - Should demand more of their employees into accepting new challenges - Should stop making comparisons with call-center type of jobs (like Amazon)
