    Advice to Management

    Pros

The hourly people in the Stamping Plant are really good to work with. The pay is good but that is about it.

    Cons

These are most incompetent idiots you could have running a Stamping Plant. They manage through fear and intimidation because they don't have a clue what they're doing. Working the Alternate Work Schedule is just short of selling your soul to the Devil. No investment is being put into the Stamping Plant. The equipment is being run around the clock until they blow it up. This just happened with a press You face harassment from manage if you have a work related injury.

    Advice to Management

You need to fire all the idiots that are running the Belvidere Stamping Plant into the ground. The Alternate Work Schedule needs to be eliminated if you want quality to get better!

    Pros

The pay is great, and they will put you up in a hotel on their dime for the duration of the internship (13 weeks). The culture is relaxed and so is the dress.

    Cons

There is no structure to the internship, I consistently had no work to do and was bored far too much. I would recommend completing internships with FCA in their corporate headquarters where it is much more structured.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be a more focused and developed program available through the business centers, as well as training for the management staff involved with the interns.

    Pros

Good Money if you don't mind long hours Company car program is nice, but somewhat pricey

    Cons

Lack of advancement within plant- repeatedly blocked for promotions. Unlike most companies that want to grow and develop their people, at FCA if your good at what you do be prepared to be stuck at what you're doing for years on end. Also, as middle management be prepared to be the human piñata, as you'll be the one getting thrown under the bus and verbally abused when things go wrong. HR also has deaf ears to employees issues at least at the plant level....generally when entire departments turn over due to having an incompetent manager it'd raise a red flag that maybe it's the manager...but not at FCA. In those cases, the manager will probably get a promotion out of the deal... FCA HR is that disconnected to their workforce. I'd stay clear of this place...the FCA ship is bound to sink

    Advice to Management

Listen to your workforce, allow employees the opportunity to grow and own their careers. FCA is no longer a final career destination, need to get with the times and realize you can't treat employees poorly and expect them to stay and be loyal.

    Pros

The company has good salary rates.

    Cons

Poor management, you can't develop if you don't have connections, Manufacturing Finance is the worst area to work in the company, because is managed in an emotional, moody, temperamental way. It Doesn't focus on the important things and so far is being rated as the work place to be in the whole group

    Advice to Management

Change the working environment on the area, the first thing is getting rid of the people that has been doing the same thing more than 10 years without achieving good results instead of having an awful area management.

    Cons

Chrysler Human Resources are very unprofessional, unorganized and Management cannot adapt to change even for the better.

    Advice to Management

Cut out the middle man, stop creating jobs that you don't need. It's a waist of money.

    Pros

Good Pay Nice Coworkers to work with that are easy to work with Easy workload at the Toledo Facility with help from others

    Cons

WAY to much overtime without any option. If you want to keep your job you better make sure you show up. Coworkers are all trying to get off work so no one will cover your time off. Boss will not work with you to make sure your hours are accommodating to you. No room for advancement

    Advice to Management

Flexibility to be able to move around within Chrysler. Better work environment with more people to be able to cover your weekends.

The place is full of "family, whohaknows and union buddies". Management is totally useless (might explain the bad quality)

    Advice to Management
