Pros – The position allows flexibility in terms of work hours (any 80) and a superb work/life balance.

Cons – The occasion to be recognized for outstanding review work is extremely rare.

Pros – Interesting work, sometimes - or rarely

Cons – Stagnation, bloated bureaucracy getting worse, infantilization of employees, clueless people can wind up in positions of power too easily (but you probably will not be able to)

Advice to Senior Management – Leave and let someone competent do your job
