    Pros

    Very talented employees, astute management, good diversification of core product strength into various business units.

    Cons

    Becoming more "corporate" - a positive for company growth - can lessen the communication from leadership which can be frustrating to some employees.

    Advice to Management

    Ensure more communication from corporate to allow all employees to understand (in as much as possible) company direction.

    Cutting edge technology. Great Benefits with high 401k match, ESPP, Bonus, Gym reimbursement

    Cons

    Too much restructure and reorganization. Corporate culture is to be understaffed so employees are stretched

    pay is competitive and lots of autonomy

    there is too much focus on cost saving measure related to employee benefits and too much emphasis on short term financial metrics

    motivation flowing down from executives, greater communication and increased sense of inclusion in the business

    Excellent benefits, good pay, enjooyable coworkers, good ethics& morals, exciting product

    Cons

    Too much corporate bureaucracy. Upper management has a stranglehold on operations, often leaving lower managers unable to do their job effectively.

    Advice to Management

    Ease your choke hold and let lower managers do their job

    Pros

    Technology is interesting and fun to talk about. Employees are very engaged. Great benefits and pay is fair. Management team is very talented and focused on keeping the company strong and competitive. They generally make unemotional decisions that are fact based. Very strong ethics.

    Cons

    Communication is getting better, but still has a ways to go to fully engage the employees. Not enough emphasis on employee training. Building could use facelift. The cafe is okay, but not great. Workout facility is weak. Would like to have more fun at work.

    Advice to Management

    Focus more on creating a positive culture and engage directly with employees. We will always focus on being financially strong, but would be good to set aside some additional budget for training, fun and socializing. Shareholders aren't more important that employees. Consider adding more resources to stretched teams. Management team is a bit insular and doesn't represent a full set of perspectives and functions. Seems strange that human resources doesn't report to Andy.

    Pros

    Total company vision from CEO is excellent. Great products and innovation will keep the company growing! Pay is competitive with market.

    Cons

    With quick changes come challenges supporting the business and uncertainty in what will happen next. Communication of vision is not making it into day to day "running the business" challenges. Everywhere staffing is not at the right level to support the growth, Doing more with less is the common phrase. The Company is focused on stock market results and not it's employees growth or supporting it's employees as it adds more work. Temps or salaried OT seem to be the preference over full time hires to growth support.

    Advice to Management

    Hire the right people, have professional development plans and set reasonable goals for the teams. Put the same amount of work into the management of the company as is being done with the development of the next product.

    Pros

    Interesting Products, Challenging but enjoyable Work Environment, Low key workplace, Work/life balance is good. Hands on Employees are very talented, Most employees are great to work with.

    Cons

    Same problems year after year. Ineffective Manager/ Directors, Poor Communication & Planning, Understaffed and overburdened. Few opportunities for growth, small raises and bonuses unless you are upper management. Every quarter is a struggle, but we make revenue. Upfront work, Quality and Reliability is not a priority. Healthcare costs are high for such a large pool of employees.

    Advice to Management

    Level the playing field and treat employees fairly and the result will be amazing. You know the main problems, Fix them please.

    Pros

    Employee stock purchase plan, decent benefits, decent pay. Not a bad work environment. Good products overall, especially if you are into optics, thermal imaging, etc.

    Cons

    Poor intra-company communication. Management promotes incompetents. Company caters to the stock holder above anything else. Employees come second.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on communication. Don't just talk about it—lead by example. Don't just send a company email. Talk to all your employees one-on-one and find out what they're thinking. Address employee concerns at meetings. Let employees know that their thoughts and concerns are being heard.
