Current Employee – been working at Fairview Health full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – good place for new grads and those who are content with no growth.
Cons – short staffed many days, added work builds upon other tasks, good initial pay however not very good raises, not compensated for added work, often bullied by area management and when HR is notified bullying became worse.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your employees when they go to HR with serious concerns.

Former Employee – worked at Fairview Health full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Good benefits, easy work duties, excellent work life balance, decent compensation, lots of resources to use to do the job
Cons – No career paths, no professional growth opportunities, HR is horrible, don't promote people based on results-only based on politics, corporate boys club is rampant, management is never held accountable for their actions
Advice to Senior Management – Hold management accountable, keep a closer eye on the budgets because you waste a lot of money, develop a talent management strategy to nuture and reward your top performers

Former Employee – worked at Fairview Health
Pros – Good pay, good place for medical burnouts and non-technical people to hide.
Cons – Lack of technical opportunities. Extremely poor management. Reorgs simply reshuffle the same good-old-boy deck. Dead-end place to hide for non-technical or those tired of medical work. The don't have any T in IT.
Advice to Senior Management – Replace homegrown yokels with real management.
