    Pros

    Very people oriented...they place a high priority on their employee's welfare. Excellent benefits, safe work environment.

    Difficult to staff considering the long hours of operations.

    There's some really good benefits and you'll learn a lot with this company

    Cons

    A lot of politics... There's room for advancement, but only up to a point. Anywhere past the Assistant Manager spots you're more likely to be fired than move up.

    Pros

    It is a steadily growing company. Great thing is Fed Ex is all about promoting within their own company.

    Cons

    The hourly pay is not all that great. I would have thought with FedEx being such a big company that the pay would have been better.

    Good benefits, they really do take care of their employees and tuition reimbursement,

    Back when I use to work for Fedex. My manager was not a good leader and role model at all

    Hire good managers that are good leaders and role model to employees.

    Pros

    Great family of co-workers, everyone depends on each other and gets everything accomplished that needs to be done as a team. Driving isn't non-stop and can give you plenty of time to still be in the stores assisting other employees and customers.

    Cons

    A rather large disconnect between store employees and upper corporate management. I know it's standard for this to be the case, but it really feels like corporate has entirely different goals and aspirations of the company that more times than not are completely different than what's actually needed to succeed on a store level. The corporate side people-wise is great, but their focus always seems a bit "off".

    Driving is great, customers always enjoy seeing you, and you're usually delivering to repeat professionals. (not delivering packages to houses)

    Pros

    It's a fun place to work. You learn a lot of valuable skills and meet a lot of interesting people. It teaches you to be good at multitasking and to learn how to deal with people.

    Cons

    You stand a lot. If the store isn't busy and there's nothing to do in production things can get a little boring. The job is stressful, but good if you like a challenge. Customers can be very picky and rude, but you have to know how to talk to them. Scheduling can be a little annoying because it isn't consistent.

    Make schedules more consistent.

    Large company / Known both domestically and internationally / Great Benefits / Fortune 500 company/ Customer Service Driven!

    Cons

    FedEx Office considers a 30 hour to 32 hour week full-time. This creates a hardship for an employee needing the commitment of a full 40 hour work week.

    Guarantee employees a full 40 hours per week with the opportunity of overtime.

    Pros

    I have learned many things in the printing industry. The job has allowed me to become very comfortable with computing technology (I didn't know much when I started).

    Cons

    To many forms to fill out to get the job done. I felt like I was being removed from the customer and more worried about what I didn't complete, form-wise, before starting or ending my day.

    Removing 1 form and adding 2 more isn't less paperwork.

    Pros

    The people you work with are great and the company is very dynamic so things move pretty quickly.

    Cons

    Considering the different number of hats we wear, we do not get the compensation that we deserve. The company spends a lot of time training their managers about logistical factors regarding the business but very little time training them hot to communicate and manage their "teams".

    Spend more time on making our customers and employees happy and less time on trying to standardize the business.
