Great company, great culture, decent pay

ProsPay is below market level for the area. Great company with great and true people-first culture. Career advancement opportunities are available, especially on international divisions

ConsChallenging financial conditions which impact pay. Very low turnover. Some people that have been with the company for years perform poorly and still get a chance to stay in the job.

Advice to Senior ManagementPoor performenrs need to be managed out. Focus on retaining talent.

ProsExceptional top notch industries standards. Exemplary customer service that are well trained. Grant it sometimes the weather does get in the was of it's massive fleet of planes that can be affected by winter storms thus the occasional delay. Other than the Acts of God delays they are an superior Company the takes care of it's people. Great company, if your lucky enough to work for, that believes in a living People, Service, Profit philosophy. Fedex has won many Excellence awards because of their high level standards.

ConsThe inability to have customer fully understand why weather in other areas effect their local stations that deliver their packages. In regards to work life balance, Fedex provides great tools for employees to take advantage of such as health benefits, work life balance such as discounts on Brand name products, strong opportunity to personal growth within the company programs. It's all there one just has to use the benefits it provides.

Advice to Senior ManagementI feel that management have made great efforts to get to know the front line employees with such events as Meet and Greet. This gives every employee the opportunity to mingle with upper management and share ideas in a more relaxed atmosphere. Also a great way to increase morale all around.
