    Pros

Have money to spend, and will spend it Good people

    Cons

Too many 'leaders' trying to make a name for themselves Lack of work/life balance not addressed in critical IT positions of the company (while others in IT come in late, leave early, and take 2 hour lunches to get their workout in). Relationships with consultants prioritized over FTE's

    Advice to Management

Stop talking, do not assume that everyone prior to you or below you is dumb, and start listening to your staff...you might learn a thing or two.

    Pros

Decent benefits and relatively easy work - but the cons greatly outweigh the pros. Great experience into what is corporate culture.

    Cons

The most micromanaged I've ever been at any company. Very little room to grow. Below average pay for the amount of work expected, though for some the work itself may come easily. IT department may be the least innovative I've ever seen. Over 40 employees in the IT dept. alone have left in the last 12 months, with 15 being at the director level and higher, including the CIO.

    Advice to Management

Get your stuff together, this IT department is going nowhere - fast.

In my 3 year experience, there were 2 district managers and they were both poor at managing.

    Pros

Great atmosphere and loved working in it. I enjoyed meeting some employees and making connections.

    Cons

Store managers and District managers were deceiving, deceptive, hypocritical, and insincere. #dishonest

    Advice to Management

Respect the people that you have doing your leg work enough to be upfront and honest.

    Pros

Meeting new people everyday from all aspects of life

    Cons

Pay, hours, too much work too less money.

    Advice to Management

Make hiring process harder and really weed out people that seem average. Provide better training to new employees.

    Pros

First working their back in 07' you had ready access to almost any shoe and product in store at discount. The store was about team work and unity and working as a team. We used to be family like as a company. They used to promote within and celebrate employees who did exceptionally well. Great first job. Teaches you great customer service skills and great relationship building.

    Cons

Upper managment keeps changing philosophies and values. Out of 7 years I only received 4 raises. 2 of which where received within promotions as well as have two cuts in pay due to change in pay structure. Finishline also lost its value in quality of life. We were not a team anymore. We were a bunch puppets that are dispossable at a dime. It feels like walmart. We used to have pride for the company because they had pride in us.that has now changed.

    Advice to Management

Try to actually help your teams instead of having them jump through 10,000 hoops just for you to cut our pay.... again. Stay consistant in some aspects. Show appreciation to the staff. They will show it back.

    Pros

Discount on shoes, and seeing new people everyday. I love helping people out, so at the time I thought this would be the perfect job for me. Another thing I enjoyed, was that we didn't get paid off commission. So that way if you didn't sell anything you would still get paid.

    Cons

Poor hours, and low income. If the income was a little higher, I probably wouldn't mind the low hours.

    Advice to Management

Raise the base pay from 7.50

    Pros

Ability to talk and get paid, Learn how a business runs, talkative co-workers, based on commission so hope for higher pay. Nice working environment.

    Cons

Dead-end job. Not the best pay. No promotional opportunity. Too much work to attempt to get a raise. Some members are the best at what they do and don't get rewarded for it.

    Advice to Management

Try and promote from within instead of hiring thieves for hopeful managers. Give more hope for promotions for current staff. Stop hiring managers who don't know anything about the company or the policies. Promote more members on staff who deserve it.
