I worked at FleishmanHillard full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The work environment on the digital side in Dallas is built to foster great relationships with colleagues and clients. The clients are amazing and continue to grow. On top of that you really have opportunity to create a space for yourself without someone telling you that what you want to do is not your job.

    Cons

Because it's such a open work environment, sometimes it can be a bit chaotic and unstructured.

I worked at FleishmanHillard full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great accounts, great people, great benefits, fair compensation. Training was great, compared to other jobs I've had. I learned more from some of my former bosses there than I could ever thank them for.

    Cons

Promotions and titling are very rigorously reviewed, and it is easy to think of people who were unfairly promoted. And it's very hard to get direct reports assigned to yourself to grow your own management experience since some senior level managers horde direct reports to bulk up their own, on paper responsibilities, with little regard for their direct reports needs. Not a deal breaker, just being honest.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work harder on retaining younger talent that's actually qualified, not just those who are better at self promoting than doing the actual billable work that helps FH grow.
