    I worked at Florida International University part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    I got trained to do financial analysis. My MS Excel knowledge increased immensely thanks to helping my professor with market analysis, graphs and securities.

    Cons

    Nothing was a con overall. I loved the job I was doing. It contributed a lot to get the experience I needed for the financial field

    Ample funding opportunities and lab facility for working in BME, Electrical and material engineering area.

    I don't' see many cons other than a slightly lousy management system, may be because it Miami!!

    It was close to my home and they offered a lot of classes and gave oportunity to a large community.

    It was quite close to my house so i did not have so much issues

    Great supervisors, opportunities for training and growth. Good benefits.

    Cons

    On campus and neighborhood lunch options limited. Lots of street and parking lot flooding during summer months.
