ProsThere are no pros working for this company

ConsIn the piedmont NC area. Branch Managent and Assistant Mgmt.are either kin or best buddies. And if they have a friend who wants a job, they will start harassing a worker that they have no liking for in hopes they will quit. Their most used words are, I'm going to fire you., I'm going to write you up, Total verbal harrassment every day and hour you are on the job. Very much a imtimidating and hostile company.

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to put their friendship aside that they have with the Branch Management and listen more to the workers.

ProsFast growing company. Some day we (R/O) might make money.

ConsCompany growing on the backs of the route owners.

Advice to Senior ManagementHelp the route owners before they go bankrupt, can not afford to keep up with growth of low volume accounts.

ProsWork by yourself and are able to work without a supervisor breathing down your neck most of the time

ConsThey will give you a big allowance when you start and pait a wonderful picture just to get you to buy a route. Once you are there for a 6 months to a year they will start to cut that allowance. I work 60 hours a week and 7 days a week andI am only bring home $400.00 a week average. I was promised $1000.00 to buy the route. This is a real scam as I am seeing. I should have believed the other route drivers in Oklahoma city that told me this before I bought a route. This is happening to many of us here. Many more have quite cause of this.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep your word. Relize you will make more money if you take care of the ones working hard for you.

ProsEasy purchasing terms. No down payment, flexible credit terms. Anyone with a pulse can own a nature's own bread route.

ConsHeartless management, dissapearing percentages has left me very little to live on. Some weeks because of slow sales, truck repairs or because they freaking feel like it; i may not even get a paycheck after 70hrs of work.

Advice to Senior ManagementSlavery is illegal in all 50 states. Treat us with respect instead of something you scrape off the bottom of your shoes.

Former Employee – worked at Flowers Foods full-time for more than 3 years

ProsWorking with the independant distributors on increasing their sales. Health care benefits are decent.

ConsWork week for Sales Managers average 70-85 hours per week. Averaged about $12 on high hour weeks. Company cannot convince any qualified people to in essence "purchase" their own job which makes it very hard to develop a competent workforce. Moral is the worst of any company I have ever been associated with. Have sat in on many interviews where prospective distributors are told they can change to better routes if one comes open....then when one comes open they are told that changes are no longer allowed. If you have a family, personal time is virtually non-existant and career advancement to other locations is frowned upon because they have a hard time filling the management positions.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't take ideas that differ from upper managements' for increasing sales personal. Help your employees grow by assisting them when they seek promotions.

ProsWork by yourself without someone constantly working with you breathing down your neck.Money at one time was very good.

ConsThe guy above me says it all I rarely get a paycheck anymore I made good money last year.I went out due to illness for 5mths for a surgery and came back to NOT getting a paycheck no matter what my route made that week.I work everyday and very hard I have been in this business for over 20yrs working at diffrent companies and this is the WORST! I have lost everything due to this company never paying me I dont know how they expect me to pay for my gas when I work a full week and they tell m I owe THEM 400$ at the weeks end How does this happen and no I make sure my stale is under the % which im allowed.I cant figure out the pay checks I have no idea how they figure it out and ive asked to be shown how to do it and no one can show me because its "Not their job" im living off of NOTHING and they dont give a damn!! Its so bad im almost thinking of leaving it and letting the route go eventhough I put so much hard work into it. I dont know how they can live with themselves they are getting paid for what I do every week but I dont??? I have asked again and again for help but they pass it on to the next person who passes it to the next and where does that leave me? BROKE!! I cant stand this company I hate it I wish I never came here im losing everything I have because of this company I hope you all read this im writing to the big wigs can you see whats going on ? Do you just not care about the people that take your product to the stores? NO you dont!!

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to what your drivers are telling you and know that we need a steady paycheck every week just like you
