    Pros

Loved the 30% and 50% off discounts. Great place to meet new people especially the ones who love shoes just like you. I even enjoyed the uniforms.

    Cons

Long hours, no pay. No room for advancement. No work life balance. Jordan releases are dumb.

    Advice to Management

Allow more advancement to the employees that have been there the longest or who have college degrees. Maybe a management trainee program. Have at least 5 in the store, too many people on the schedule and not enough hours for them all.

    Pros

Good environment, awesome people. Really good discount, and employee benefits are okay.

    Cons

Minimum wage. Slow store business. horrible customers. all co-workers are on commission so they are sales hungry

    Advice to Management

Increase pay for both part/full time associates and managers. Nobody would stay in this job, it doesn't pay the bills.

    Pros

    Upbeat environment and competitive spirit

    Cons

Managers working closer to 55 hours per week. During Christmas and busy seasons managers are worked to exhaustion. Forces to work 6 days a week with multiple open to close shifts

    Advice to Management

    Value your people.

    I worked at Foot Locker

    Pros

Once in while get a pair of shoes that are exclusive if the other employees don't get em first.

    Cons

1% commission on shoe sales. It's obvious that you're harassing customers trying to fight for a 1 percent sales commission, stand on your feet and most of the time we did not have the product people wanted.

    Pros

The discount is the only thing that is great but purchasing work clothes really takes your checks so you're basically giving it back to your company this company is terrible.

    Cons

The pay rate , dog eat dog company.

    Advice to Management

It's not really the managers. It's the district manager.

    Pros

You get a 30% discount on the merchandise they sell in their stores

    Cons

The overwhelming amount of work and my managers are of no help. My direct manager doesn't know what is going on and barely gets by everyday.

    Advice to Management

Be more involved with the departments and employees and when you notice unhappy employees, take initiative and observe their managers/directors because most likely it's them and not the actual work itself.

    Pros

    • 50%-off family discount twice a year • okay benefits, but nothing that amazing

    Cons

    • no opportunity to grow your career; a lot of empty promises and stalling between managers and HR • pay is not competitive; HR lies about doing market research and is awful at justifying why they underpay you • entire company is outdated and out of touch with current trends, marketing, and technology • lazy, inexperienced, and unqualified management that cannot provide clear direction or goals • management takes advantage of team; expects everyone to work long hours and dismisses people who ask for support or to be compensated • CEO and VP's only care about other executives; no appreciation for junior-level employees • boy's club mentality in the corporate office; women are openly treated as inferiors • multiple executives have made me feel uncomfortable/not safe, especially when they drink too much at office functions

    Advice to Management

    • your staff knows how to do your jobs better than you do
