I have been working at Foot Locker full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

If you are looking for advancement the company recruits within. Six to nine months is the average time to complete training and or be in the right spot at the right time and get promoted to a store manager.

    Cons

Company expectations of daily operations exceed hours budget... leaving many salaried managers to pick up the slack resulting in an average of 50-55 hour work weeks!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Advice to senior management.... invest in your people. Pay them what they are worth and daily efficiencies just might meet daily expectations. If all Foot Lockers received the same hours given and product assortment given to HOH's every Footlocker would run high volume and efficiencies.
