    Pros

Forest provided a very in depth training program that helped you learn the products well. They were constantly looking at compensation policies and changing them to help you make more money and making sure they were as fair as possible. Great benefits, plenty of time off, plenty of sick days, company car, gas, cell phone, internet paid. A lot of new products and new products in the pipeline.

    Cons

Some expectations were unrealistic. Policies were for the company as a whole and did not take into consideration how different the markets or different territories could be. Targets were assigned by a computer program or someone in an office who had no knowledge of the territory. Reporting seemed to always be delayed and not accurate as well.

    Pros

Free Car, Free Gas, Time off is a great perk

    Cons

If your team doesnt go to work then you suffer, a bad team mate is like a bad lover, nothing ever gets accomplished.
You become a delivery guy to the staff... all they want is food and coffee.. and they arent even the ones writting your products. For men suit and tie in the blistering Fl heat is no bueno.. They monitor your calls, and make sure that you hit a quota.. Job security is never a given, you dont know if today or tomorrow will be your last.. thats how they keep pushing you, to keep you job.

    Advice to Management

Discipline the team members that arent working, not the team.
Make sure you have everyone on the same page. reguardless of thier tenure with the company, a rookie is just as valuable as a vet, when it comes to new targets and old ones..

    Pros

Good company to get some experience in Pharma. Lots of active products with big pipeline and lots of open positions.

    Cons

Pod system of lots of reps in small territories overlapping on 1-4 products, not very many qualified partners. 5-6 products in your bag. Low base salary.

    Advice to Management

Fewer, better reps, more competitive salary

    Pros

    Technical resources were excellent; benefits were rewarding; Was satisfied with salary;

    Cons

Many people were working for too many years 10 - 15 years and were not ready to change for the better. Old school techniques of only copy pasting in excel for critical analyses.

    Advice to Management

Need intellectual managers to motivate skilled employees; Company should look for skilled labor rather than keeping slow pacers for too long - who wouldn't grow and won't let others grow too !
