  1. It's not a bad place to work, but definitely not the best, by far.

    I worked at Forever 21

    Pros

For a beginner sales position the pay is decent, when in school you get to get a schedule that goes according to your availabilty, Manhattan location you get hours and you learn a lot on the job if you want to move on to a larger company. You will gain good experience and I respect the values of the store

    Cons

Hard work , too much work not enough pay, management is not to good or responsible for people personal and important documents or information , not very good with responding and never answer phones also very bad with caring about their employees .

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get some better management and more people that care equally about there employees and the job as well as there checks, also it needs to be a change on getting access to payroll better

    Pros

Stylish, great music nice friendly engaging environment many of my friends from school are here too. All the hours you can ask for.

    Cons

Low wages. Not enough space for clothes. Lots remain in boxes we put under tables. Not enough registers the customers stand in line way too long. They are in need of expanding their stores to accommodate everyone especially with the fitting room hours and spacing.

  6. Dysfunctional !

I have been working at Forever 21

    Pros

It's a great place to work because of the coworkers, everyone is super nice and accepting. The store is constantly changing so you won't get bored with it.

    Cons

The pay rate it low and they ask a lot of you. When closing sometimes you aren't out of the store until 1:30am and there are sometimes overnight shifts. The management isn't very well put together so the store ends up a mess a lot of the time. You will constantly be cleaning up the same things over and over so if you don't have much endurance for that this isn't the job for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They need to find a better system for keeping the store intact at all times. The employees need to feel confident that they believe in them, they all need to have there own section of the store that they know very well so it is always simple to keep it clean.
