I have been working at Forever 21 part-time for less than a year

    Pros

I am a part-time employee, and I get around 18-20 hours a week, which is good for me because I am also a college student. I love that there is always something to be done, so I never get bored. I love most of my co-workers.

    Cons

Low employee discount (10%), starting pay at minimum wage (which is to be expected, so not really that bad).

    I worked at Forever 21 part-time

    Pros

I loved the environment and my co-workers were great (except for a few). Great management also--I still remain friends with one of the managers there although I no longer work there

    Cons

The pay wasn't that great but it was better than min. wage. Also, dealt with many difficult customers but it does train you on how to deal with these customers in a positive way. The employee discount was terrible though--discount was basically just the tax taken off.

I worked at Forever 21 part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The best part about working there was making the store look good, and assisting with visual merchandising. Helping customers find what they were looking for was also a plus. On a daily basis I would help style customers and help them decide what looked best on them. I also love to organize, so keeping the store in top shape was a plus for me.

    Cons

One con was the time off policies. If you call in sick, you are written up immediately with a "strike 1." Other than that, there were really no cons. My managers and co workers were excellent to work with and it was a fun and fast paced environment!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better time off policies for part time employees

    Pros

Pros, working with new fashion, most of the time great customers, edgy vibe.

    Cons

Regional manager was pretty intense, to set the least, angry clients, not great pay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on getting the store employes to work together like a family again. Makes a big difference.

    I worked at Forever 21

    Pros

great co-workers, hours of operation are nice. Management is down to earth. Music is always playing and it's a great variety.

    Cons

Hours can be low so you have to pick up hours from others if you want to have a steady check.
Lots of young people work there and they bring their high school drama into the workforce.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Close at closing time. It's not fair to employees to keep the store open late to meet sales goals. Employees have lives and already expect to be there an hour and a half after closing.

I have been working at Forever 21 part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Promotions are always going on, management is decent depending on the location, fellow associates make you want to come to work. I mean its retail, can't expect too much.

    Cons

Discount sucks, especially for the hours and hard work the employees put in.
