I have been working at Forever 21 part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Great Customer Service Experience -High pace environment -A variety of coworkers to relate to

    Cons

-None that I can say (optimist here)

    Advice to Management

Better employee training? I am studying marketing and see the inner working of the company and feel like the store I currently work at might be missing camaraderie. I don't believe I was allowed proper introduction to most of the coworkers on staff. I happen to be extrovert, so I make it a point to introduce myself but for someone who is not as courageous, it might be harder to get acclimated to the environment affecting the companies all together.

I have been working at Forever 21 part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have heard a lot of negative reviews on here about Forever 21! I think it depends on your location though. My location is fantastic. Excellent managers, fun visuals and associates. There have been many pros working here, but I will share a few. This is just from my store though, every store will vary in experience. Associates are trained in everything. From the different sections of the sales floor, to the registers, to the fitting rooms. You get to work in every area and it teaches you a lot about retail. Flexible hours. Every day I have requested off, I have got off. The shifts can range usually from 4-8 hours as an associate. Forever 21 is a big company so associates can get up to 30 hours a week. I worked for a smaller company that couldn't even give associates more than 10 before F21. Cute clothes. You get dibs on anything in the back room before it is even on the sales floor. Room to advance. A lot of managers started out as associates and have worked their way up!

    Cons

LOW DISCOUNT!! The discount of 10% is such a joke. I understand the clothes are cheap, but corporate needs to realize they would make more money if we received a 20% discount. 10% covers sales tax only! We are expected to talk to customers and put them first at my location. While this is not bad, the customers are usually rude and unfriendly to associates. The company needs to see the customer they target is not really interested in help, unless they initiate it.
