In the beginning company seemed to be going places; more recently the company has struggled.

    Pros

Decent pay and benefits. Safety of employees is a high priority.

    Cons

Very little organic growth. Recent growth has been mainly through acquisitions. Company also does not reinvest in latest technology. Sales department seems to get all the accolades but rarely seems to hit their goals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look into other printing opportunities than just labels.

Hold sales department more accountable for missing targets.

Bring on more seasoned sales employees.

Great company for start up sales experience. Company is growing. Market is very saturated.

    Pros

They have great benefits. They reinvest in their employees very well. continuous training. Pay is OK, not great. Plenty of product knowledge. Relocation is an option.

    Cons

Some micro management. Not enough vacation time for employees. Hard to move up. They do not offer educational advancement above a bachelors degree.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow some flexibility to associates. More vacation time and team based activities to boost employee moral. Leadership is a great asset at this company. Allow for educational assistance for MBA degrees.

    Pros

The pay was actually fair, some of the equipment was ok.

    Cons

Zero sick time, catty co-workers, changing policies on the fly, whenever requesting help of any sort - it was always denied, incompetent higher management, incompetent HR, inflexibility, being evasive & dishonest in regards to company accounts (IE not letting the clients know that their competitors were also clients) and the rants from the CEO in the quarterly meetings. The 'core' values were always just spewed like a tape recording - 'customer intimacy' in particular was not only annoying, but completely hypocritical. The constant patting-himself-on-the-back about reinvesting in the employees was a joke. There was always a caveat or excuse why they couldn't offer training, or if you did want to proceed with Educational reimbursement, it had a catch to it (IE, you would be locked into a 5 year commitment as an employee, and going beyond a bachelor's degree was never an option).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop lying to the customers as well as the employees.
