    Bad management

I have been working at Four Seasons Health Care

    Pros

Taking care of the residents, SOME staff..

    Cons

    Ok, here goes.
If your face fits your job will be amazing what I mean by this is if your family of the managers!
The management speak to you as though you are a naughty child.
It doesn't matter what you do you can never do your job right ( meaning not cleaning a toilet properly) not actually anything to do with a resident.
If you sit with a resident for more than 10 minutes you get told to go do some work, the meals are shocking and the activities are even worse.
Things get overlooked if your up the managers bum.
Also if you phone in sick the management tells you you need to go in (D&V) which can harm and old person. Also if you phone in sick over Christmas they will do everything in there power to get rid of you and sack you. Shocking.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't work with your family.
Do some training so you know what your doing
think of the residents that pat £500+ a week and not when your next cigarette will be.

I worked at Four Seasons Health Care

    Pros

Relatives residents and staff thats all.

    Cons

Living with potty mouthed senior management team.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

At your recent conference in Glasgow Sept 2014 it is a pity Mr Smith And Mr Hammond that you didn't share the same hotel as you placed your staff in The Premier Inn. Two tier system already adopted. You should be ashamed with the language bring shouted across the communal dining area within public view and ear shot. It was a total disgrace.

I have been working at Four Seasons Health Care part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Nothing nice about the carehome at all....I have had bad experience throughout my entire time in the place

    Cons

.Food is a disgrace...Care standards fall far below level expected. Staff are not caring and are mostly from other countries and their communication skills are appalling and disturbing for old residents. Really horrible place to work in. Manager is an evil twisted lying woman.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Records and care profiles being updated ...WITH LIES...is more important than the residents ...Not listening to staff. Neglecting their duty of care.. It should be ran with professional doctors not some woman or man with no heart.

I worked at Four Seasons Health Care full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Listening to residents life experiences

    Cons

No benefits for staff, poor training, bullying culture, SMT not supportive of staff on the floor, to much paperwork, to many bosses top heavy company, lack of equipment, homes of a poor standard ie decor furnishings and fittings. Empty promise, staff turnover is enormous, poor inductions, no BH payments. going down the pan with a very poor reputation,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Whole Senior Management need to get in the real world, to much pressure on HM and staff, RM foul mouthed but get away with it, Very controlling no autonomy given to HM anymore. Try to start and respect your staff. Pay your staff a decent wage, stop covering your own backs
