Big company thinking so red tape is sometimes an issue. Overall, this can be seamless when you learn the systems, but daunting to someone who first starts working for them.

I worked at Four Seasons as an intern

    Pros

Treats their interns as professionals Handles HR issues appropriately Committed to helping interns place within FS after the internship ends They have a FS alumni group for former employees and interns to stay in touch with the company and potentially be re employed by FS.

    Cons

Sales managers know too many people so they are not that good with staying in contact with former employees on a personal level

    Advice to Management

definitely recruit former employees who hope to return to the company, especially from the alumni group on LinkedIn.
