I have been working at Fractal Analytics full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    1. Shrikanth:- Only reason I am still with this Organization, You will never find such a leader in any of the organization. I hope to see 2 yr old fractal with recent changes that are coming.
    2. Sense of Ownership, when I enter the office I feel I own this company and this motivates me to continue working here.
    3. Good Work, Flexible timings, Good Training,

    Cons

    1. Batch Parity: I am one of the lucky ones here my sub-juniors from my Engineering college and my current junior from post grad college are in company, but I can say seeing them placed in the company that either I have made a wrong choice doing my PG.
My 2 year Junior from Engg college get paid equivalent to me, he is only graduate with work ex from one of IT giants in India, HR and Senior Management have failed to established Batch Parity in this Organization.

    2. Pay Parity: Pay Parity exists in the organization at all the levels right from A1 to P4, I am with this company since Jan 2012 with No change in my designation even after getting A B+ B+ grades in my three appraisal.

    3. Managers are biased with those who joined fractal as first job and when questioned about any thing related to career growth and aspirations they dumbs.

    4. I have often seen good people leaving this organization and no efforts have been maid to retain them from the management.

    5. Appraisals, Exit Interviews, Feedback all are just off's, Mid Management, HR and Admin is making fool of a guy like Shrikanth, whom I respect from the bottom my heart.

    6. Analyst are given laptop to work while people with experience need to work on desktops, why is this? this question have been raised twice in town hall but the management is clueless.

    7. Worst HR and Admin Support, they will keep giving you a reason which keep check on your frustration level.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Seeing recent changes, I'm optimistic about my future here.

Try to be more real with resources as in on who is actually capable

Keep an eye on the middle management. Mediocrity suppresses creativity, Managers are not ready to listen to associates

I worked at Fractal Analytics full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    People make the place great

    Cons

Having managers from outside and not home grown managers dilutes Fractal values. Should look at grooming and growing people within the eco-system.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please make sure that the people you hire in senior roles from outside of Fractal are a fit for Fractal values and culture

I have been working at Fractal Analytics

    Pros

good in operational work...many fringe benefits to employees...flexi timings. Increments are good

    Cons

scarcity of statistical and modelling profiles.if interested in R and SAS and modelling stuff this is not the place for you.managers are not very technically sound

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please allow and promote analysts for innovation and change projects in an year according to the interests. At an analyst level best thing you can offer is diverse learning rather than repetitive work

    Pros

Friendly, good analytics projects, good learning experience if you really want to burn your ass!!

    Cons

Lot of politics, jealous and dissatisfied employees, unorganized management ( they only care about beer and sutta), no work-life balance, poor HR and bad appraisal policies, prepare to slog it out EACH DAY at Fractal Gurgaon!
