I worked at France 24 as an intern for less than a year

Pros – - Conferred a lot of responsibility
- Multi-task, no shadowing
- Ability to develop real relationships with seniors
- Upward mobility paths fairly accessible
- Many benefits to morning shifts: subsidized meals, free taxis, good salary for intern

Cons – - Management is unorganized
- Employees can be unprofessional
- Highly stressful environment, horrible hours
- HR is awful

I have been working at France 24 full-time

Pros – Excellent colleagues from all over the world, good atmosphere and the job is fun.
The work keeps expats like this reviewer in Paris.
The money's OK.

Cons – The problems with this company are all at the top.
Good people get promoted on merit, then fired because they seem pose a threat to 'La Direction'.
Senior union reps tend to get top jobs by virtue of being union reps and not because they are any good.
Mediocre middle managers don't get sacked, they get promoted sideways and forgotten about.
And underneath are lots of happy and hard-working journalists who wouldn't touch a management opportunity with a bargepole.
