    Clueless business service managers

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsLawyer's bring in the money, good location. Easy to get to. Company pays a good portion of the benefits, dedicated lawyers,

ConsClueless business service managers, foolishly spends money the lawyers bring in. Secretaries get hired and fired every two weeks, I mean don't they know how to recruit? Idiots!

Advice to Senior ManagementGet rid of all these useless managers, they are all clueless, especially the HR manager. Tech is ancient, get rid of the IT manger since he looks like he's afraid if his own shadow and get into the 21st century already!

Really tough and thoroughly unrewarding both professionally and personally but for the idion, what does not kill you ...

Banking Lawyer (Former Employee) London, England (UK)

ProsOpportunity to work on huge international deals - very good for the CV.
Opportunity to gain first class technical skills.
Exposure to wide varied massive corporate clientelle.
    Some good pro bono opportunities.

ConsTreated like an expendable machine part, chewed up and spat out - unless on very specific career development path of the highly revered few.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat all employees with the respect they deserve and don't 'manage them out' by wearing them down with increasing hours and diminishing respect.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) London, England (UK)

Prosintelligent co-workers, great on the cv, top deals

Consmanagement couldn't care less about the prospects of associates/stress levels/enormous working hours and the attrition rate is extremely high for associates - almost no chance of making partner and even if you do - they have forcefully removed huge numbers of equity partners some of whom are still there and angry

Advice to Senior Managementgreed is not necessarily good

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
