I worked at Freshfields full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Some of the best clients and best matters. Some of the partners are very good at what they do. Plenty of colleagues to make friends with

    Cons

Long long hours, psychopathic partners. Some of the partners are nowhere near as clever as they think they are- really doubt they would make it today. Not many prospects

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop turning a blind eye to the psychopaths and sociopaths in your ranks

I have been working at Freshfields full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The London office has a fantastic restaurant and coffee bar.

    Cons

I work in business services IT department and its a shambles! The management are not interested in keeping staff members and there is a constant turn over of contractors. If you are looking for a long turn career at Freshfields in IT I would not count on it. If you are disabled individual you get little help from the firm in regards to reasonable adjustments as HR and Health and Safety do not take responsibility for supplying reasonable adjustments for disabled people this is left up to your line manager.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

H&S and HR need to take responsibility for the budget for reasonable adjustments in the work place not the line manager who also does your appraisal.
