    Pros

Land of endless opportunity. The company is actively involved in our communities

    Cons

Growing fast, challenge to ramp up and mentor new team members

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Balance between regions and centralized IT/engineering needs to be addressed. We have many opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce cost through centralizing Tier 1/2/3 support and enforcing consistent use of technology deployment across the regions.

I have been working at Frontier Communications full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Small Customer base continue to grow into new states. Co-workers are extremely willing to work together to accomplish tasks

    Cons

Up until the CT acquisition it was hard to explain to CT Residents why our company had no customers within CT.
Now that will change and we will be able to tell our CT customers about our products and services to exceed their expiations

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to grow customer base, continue to develop new products and services within the broadband space. Continue to exceed our customer’s expiations.

    Pros

Upper management gets involved with customers and employees on ALL levels.Everyone understands it is a business...a very competittive one where everyone needs to pull their weight.. Not at all siloed, odds are if you were to ask any employee what their most important responsibility is, they would all reply "the customer". This doesn't happen by mistake...it is cultural.

    Cons

We are working to improve our OSS. It is a huge task, but we are working in a focused, interdepartmental fashion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

As we grow, remember what got us here.

    Pros

The people are wonderful to work with! Everyone is open to help foster growth within your career. My direct manager and above are always there to answer questions and help me learn. There is a strong support of hiring veterans and growing a diverse community within Frontier. Overall, being new to the corporate world, this has been a great place to learn and grow.

I have been working at Frontier Communications full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

At Frontier, we have 11 core values. These values not only drive our relationships with our customers, but also with our employees. We just don't talk about the values, we strive to live them each and every day. These values keep us focused in an industry that at times can be chaotic due to circumstances outside our control i.e. storms, cable cuts, etc.
By living our values, all employees are focused and aligned. By living these values, we serve the customer better, the communities better, and serve our employees better.

    Cons

The general public doesn't understand everything that needs to be accomplished in order to provide reliable, affordable, fast high speed internet in rural America.

No Cons from a company perspective, I love my job!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep investing in our network and securing new products that meet and exceed our customer demands.
Thank you for allowing us the flexibility to be heavily involved within our communities and lead our teams at the local level versus micro managing from the top.

    Pros

Acutally does care for thier customers and employees, it's not lip service.

    Cons

Needs to develop more emerging market solutions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You can't treat Enteprise AEs the same as Small Business AEs. Re-think the management structure, training, sales activities and the current compensation stucture as it is designed for Small Business only. A 30 day objective is not reasonalble time frame for an enterprise account sale.
