The benefit package is excellent. Most of your colleagues are wonderful to work with as well.

    Cons

They do not seem to have a strong direction currently. Changing to frequently and not doing it in a very organized manner.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to closely review the talent within the organization that can be advanced for the benefit of the company.

    I worked at Fujitsu

    Pros

Small company environment allowing for diverse assignments to be undertaken and implemented. Good working environment with competent people performing at a high level.

    Cons

Parent companies needed to pursue a different, more cooperative vision for the overall company to be competitive in a mature worldwide market

    Advice to Management

Joint venture subsequently bought out by one of the parent companies and subsidiary closed; so, prior management is no longer available to receive feedback

    Pros

    Great middle management and co-workers.

    Cons

Consolidation of divisions currently causing lack of focus. Fujitsu America division shifting to more of a consulting lead organization with hardware drag. If you are focused on Enterprise product sales... consider another employer. If you are more focused on consulting services and can survive the current turmoil... probably a good place for you to land.

    Advice to Management

The shift to a consulting lead sales model will be viewed as a necessary adjustment. However, the consulting focus has significantly impacted any chance of being considered a significant hardware vendor in North America. Fujitsu Limited's requirements to dramatically increase their product sales will not occur with the confusion and uncertainty within the sales forces.

Working at fujitsu is a good experience if you want to balance your life & work with a decent pay and benefits

    Cons

professionally the scope of growth is limited and the management style is not agressive and very stagnant. lot of que from the japan

    Advice to Management

fujitsu has a good compensation and benefits but a more agressive management with communication and transparent vision for the company will help.

I have been working at Fujitsu

    Pros

good health benefits, global company has a brand name

    Cons

focused on small group of big sized clients, job may involve lots of travel, job uncertainty

    Advice to Management

Provide attractive options for employees who are willing to relocate to other locations such as Costa Rica, India or Middle East. The company needs to look for projects of all sizes, expecially in a down economy. Be ready to cut hourly costs to clients to get the foot in the door.

    Pros

nice balance between life and work. They treat people with respect.

    Cons

career growth is not so great. training opportunities are not so great

    Advice to Management

this company can grow faster if we use human resources in a better way. Reward or Fire should be adopted at all levels. Almost nobody gets fired for doing a bad job. Interview process is not so good. the screening should happen more professionally. If I get a chance, I would offshore the interviewing process to someplace where they can afford smart professionals to interview the candidates. Also, there should be "JUST IN TIME" training and offshore professionals should be able to train the candidates on what they need to do during bench time, etc.
