I have been working at Geisinger Health System full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The pay is great and the benefits are affordable. I like that you get incentive bonuses also.

    Cons

People are backstabbers and its like high school al over again.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think management needs to take responsiblity for the action of all employees and not just certain ones.

I worked at Geisinger Health System part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Most of your coworkers are friendly and easy to get along with

    Cons

Management isn't great. There is little training on how to do your job, and it was often difficult to figure out what I was supposed to do. Just not a proper amount of communication about what was expected of me. Since the work isn't lab-oriented, it isn't really valuable as a stepping stone to a better job either.

Vacation time and benefits are good

    Cons

Personal and professional growth are hindered

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should reward employees for a job well done and not consistenly only point out the negatives. Allow employees opportunities to learn new things.
