Current Employee – been working at Gibson & Associates full-time for more than 3 years

ProsGibson offers high levels of autonomy and a great deal of executive level exposure. Top perfomers have the chance to stand out immediately and are rewarded for doing so.

ConsGibson lacks many of the resources of a larger firm, and you develop yourself. When projects begin they often are understaffed and can lead to a very hectic work environment.

ProsThe best reasons are for the international travel, autonomy to make decisions within a project, ability to influence and engage senior client level management.

ConsLimited resource bench puts significant strain on the capable leadership and project teams. This presents an interesting opportunity to manage client engagements and ensure the people on the teams don't get burned out.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire more outside senior leadership.

ProsGibson consulting offers high exposure at a young age, training of the employees, and the ability to manage your work life balance.

ConsSince gibson consulting is a small firm, their are times when a new consultant will have to do more administrative work, but it is also positive because it helps give them a better understanding of the process

Advice to Senior ManagementSenior Management can gain more by giving its employees more access to online resources to grow themselves as they can sometimes be expensive
