    Summer Intern

Supply Chain Logistics (Former Employee) London, England (UK)

ProsGet to work on real projects, friendly people and an environment you learn a lot in.

ConsThere is no structure in place to retain interns. I was told whilst I was there that at any one time there are 5 times as many interns as there are graduate places, and nearly all of the graduate places are filled from recruitment outside of people on internships/placements there. I was given fantastic feedback for the duration of my internship but at the end there was no framework in place for me to be offered a full time role.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Patience required with organisation

Process Engineer (Current Employee) London, England (UK)

ProsGood place to apply science and engineering and a leader in the field. Attractive product pipeline when compared to the rest of the industry and the presence of a new CEO who will make change happen

ConsPolitics, Beurocracy. Takes too long to do anything and only those that brownose seem to suceed. Management is very retracted from the issues that cause us problems in production so there proposed solutions for better operational efficiency is somewhat blurred. R&D is not a productive environment compared to other companies that seem to do development far better than GSK

Advice to Senior ManagementGet on the ground so what things are really like

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
