    Pros

    I believe that the environment and culture is suited to my personality. I find that that the ecosystem encourages teamwork, meritocracy and autonomy to a great extent.

    Cons

    Work life balance does not exist. Expats and locals should have a comparable pay scale when working in "3rd World" nations

  7. Great learning experience in a dynamic environment.

    Pros

    GS is a full- service, global investment bank that offers client service across the firm. So it offers you the best opportunities globally in financial services.

    Cons

    High levels of pressure and sometimes too much work.

    Pros

    * People are smart (no one can be lazy, people always challenge you, you learn a lot) but humble
    * Bank is well run (efficient IT systems in place, management regularly reviewed by more junior people, productive trainings and feedback from management)
    * Ability to move internally
    * International culture
    * Good salary

    Cons

    * Working hours can be long (not in all departments though but the culture is to work hard)

  9. Very competitive environment providing plenty of opportunities for shaking up one's career every couple of years.

    Pros

    One of the top Asset Managers around. Big enough to give its best people lots of opportunity to take side steps, to step up or to move to another country. Being part of Goldman has also sit perks such as having access to an impressive intellectual capital.

    Cons

    There is no respite and far too much politics. In order to succeed you not only need to be good. You need to be better than your peers.

    Advice to Management

    Talk with everyone not only with those you are matey with. You could learn a lot.

    Pros

    It is a very friendly environment. All the employees are very friendly and always willing to help. The company has the best culture environment I have ever witnessed. It was an amazing opportunity and I recommend it to anyone who has an interest for Investment Banking

    Cons

    It can be time consuming, it is sometimes hard to balance work and personal life as you are in the office a lot.

    Pros

    Great company to start at, they look after all their employees, there is a strong sense of culture and belonging, and a lot of focus on delivering results

    Cons

    Work life balance can be challenging sometimes, with pressure to deliver that is always there. Often feels like you are constantly shortstaffed.
