I worked at Goldman Sachs full-time

    Pros

Great location, they treat their employees like family. I would go back in a heartbeat.

    Cons

Sometimes, the management is hard to reach. It's definitely a place to learn how to be independent.

I worked at Goldman Sachs full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    - Outstanding group of high-achieving professionals who are excellent across the board
    - The emphasis on teamwork is not just a tagline -- the culture really emphasizes teamwork and most people who can't play nicely with others are either coached or managed out...a culture of high-functioning teamwork across such a large corporation is truly a feat
    - You'll learn a ton from some of the best in the industry

    Cons

    - Industry is going through challenging times, culture of innovation is now constrained
    - Financial upside at the company is now more limited, will likely be harder to attract & retain top talent in future generations of employees (investment banking becomes commercial banking)
