I have been working at Goodman Masson full-time

    Pros

Goodman Masson has created a unique atmosphere and an amazing place to work, not just for a recruitment firm, but for any type of employer. Given we are currently working in a bouyant market you get approaches all the time, but none turn my head given what I have here (environment and reward)

    Cons

to be honest, it is hard to think of any

    Pros

Won "Best Place to Work" for the Experience (this is what the employee engagement strategy is labelled under) and it is not smoke and mirrors. From ensuring the best of support, through to proper career planning, good financials and loads of fun you really feel that the company is looking after you and your career. I have been here 6 years and in that time have made some serious money, been promoted 3 times, bought a house thanks to mortgage scheme and been on 3 ski trips, 2 other holidays and some nights out. Not a lot more to say really other than lovely people top middle and bottom.

    Cons

Some people maybe don't realise how good they have it!

    Advice to Management

Now we've won the Award where does the Experience go next?

I have been working at Goodman Masson full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great work atmosphere, great leadership, fantastic employee benefits and experience, genuinely support entrepreneurial flair. Run like a proper company, rather than a sweat shop like many recruitment firms.

    Cons

Employee rewards heavily focussed on getting hammered all the time.

I have been working at Goodman Masson full-time

    Pros

Approach to business development, great and consistent training which isn't generically forced but tailored to you, strong management team who are transparent and involved in the business, loads of benefits and they look after all of their people. Continued development opportunities at all levels - very clear career path

    Cons

Outside of the meeting room suites, the sales floor itself could do with a facelift!

    Advice to Management

    More of the same please.

    Doesn't Recommend

I have been working at Goodman Masson (Less than a year)

    Pros

High starting salary by recruitment standards. Central office location Benefit scheme

    Cons

Staff are at best unprofessional, recent mistakes including insulting HR managers while the person was still on the other end of the line. Poor management structure with a lack of clarity in objectives. Despite having very clear targets set in place. Staff are expected to stay well past co reacted working hours. This does not apply to the inner circle of employees

    Advice to Management

Cut down on the heavy party culture, lets just say this goes beyond casual drinks. Heavily prevalent in this organisation. Give new starters realistic expectations. Inform them at interview stage that they will be expected to work more than the allotted hours even after completion of active projects
