I worked at Google as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits are great, the attitude is really relaxed. People are very willing to chat with you about anything and they really want to share their knowledge with people The lifestyle is amazing, with opportunities for improvement in all areas that you could imagine including health

    Cons

There is the tendency to stay on campus really late so work life balance isn't great. I'd also say the feedback system was lacking and my specific manager was not always helpful when I was trying to get advice on how to improve.

I worked at Google as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

I found the company has a very open, positive culture. Everything is better with primary colors. The longer I spent there, the more assured I felt that Google was a force for good. It's really easy to drink the Kool-Aid.

    Cons

The work you're assigned to might not be as interesting as you hoped, given that, it is, after all, Google.

I worked at Google as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits. They have smart people there. If the work done really makes sense, it gets launched fairly quickly. Not too much pressure, I feel people there have good balance between work and family. The way things work out - large code base, automatic MR jobs, code reviews... are Google style, and they are awesome

    Cons

I hear that the food is getting worse (mainly due to the size increase). You want to really stand out for a promotion - but they have many great people there, so this can be tricky.

I worked at Google as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Awesome experience, learn so much, surrounded by the smartest people. They provide so much food and amenities, did I mention food? Everyone is treated very well and every day is a lot of fun. Do cool things that matter is a great slogan for any company, but especially for Google because they do so many cool things that matter such as self driving cars and Google Now.

    Cons

It's become a really big company. It has lost its "startup" vibe if that is something you really care about. there is always a lot of work to be done and it can be overwhelming

    Pros

Smart people. Good engineering practices. Free food onsite three times a day is an essential convenience factor. Lots of opportunities for travel. Interesting projects. Compensation and benefits very generous. Lots of cool perks, fun offsites etc.

    Cons

Capricious high-level management direction, some projects don't make sense. Working across many time zones in distributed offices is challenging at times.
