    Pros

The company is well balanced. Greatbatch improves and invest in their people.

    Cons

The company don't make too much salary raises. Once you have a salary, its kind of static in short term.

    Pros

I started at GB in 1989 at 10K and worked my way to coordinator and then team leader at Barton Rd.. I didn't( at that time )have the education to work thru all the difficulties of a business....especially when it came to inventory. I thought we did work as a team....the numbers showed and St. Judes appreciation was shown thru awards given to the molding dept. for on time deliveries and zero defects. Our molding dept. also rec'd Visionary of the Year nominations. I was PROUD to work under the tutelage of Mr. Larry DeAngelo, Mr. Ed Voboril , Rick Kline, Jim Biggs and the late Dawn Pajda our HR mgr. Did I make mistakes....sure did....have I learned from them.... sure did.....Life is about continuous improvement and self improvement. I left Gb because I screwed up royally. Takes a lot to admit that. Go on with your lives folks......if you think its better somewhere else....go for it....its not a bed of roses out there....I was one of the lucky ones to find a decent job.

    Cons

too many clicks in the org. I know it first hand, I saw it first hand I know you can't stop it, but please find a way to fix it. A lot of good ppl get hurt by actions of others.

    Advice to Management

who am I to advise? just be good to your people....they make GB rock n roll. they are the folks who know the jobs in and out.

    Pros

    - Friendly colleagues and middle management. - Upper management is driven to make this company profitable. - Compensation is competitive. - Work and life balance has been good to me.

    Cons

    - Feel a bit disconnected from leadership. - Quality system needs some work.

    Advice to Management

    - Prioritize employees over aggressive growth. You've got to be able to keep your employees to be Great. - Say hello and check in with people while waiting for conference rooms. Build rapport so that when you are presenting in town hall meetings your not talking to employees, but rather people you know. It will go a long way in getting people to care.

    Pros

They treat their interns as well as they treat their employees. I always felt like part of the company and they always tried to integrate me into as many projects as possible. Overall great experience.

    Cons

Having an internship does not solidify your chance of getting a full-time job, but the experience that you gain during the program should help.

    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid to push the interns and test their boundaries. The program should make them leave their comfort zone since there won't be many other opportunities to fail in the future.

    Pros

Great group of People. Cool Productions - chance to work on Medical Devices that really impact people's lives. Leading edge technology.

    Cons

The building and the location in Cleveland are not the best. Team is split across to many locations to easily collaborate.

    Advice to Management

Move to a more modern building in a better area. Look into combining all 3 locations into a single location.
