    Amazing Job

    Developer (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

ProsVery Agile with fast iterations. Extremely attentive management, great atmosphere and fun coworkers. Developers are respected and given everything they need to succeed.

ConsVery fast paced, which can create lots of distractions at times. Current growth is outpacing hiring, although the company is working on fixing that

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep doing what you're doing. Everyone I know is 100% behind the company and the management. Don't ever let us get "corporate"

    It's a whirlwind, but what a ride!

Account Executive (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

Pros- sales folk can make a LOT of money with hard work
    - even if you start out on a tiny market, talented people move up quickly
    - the people are amazing...genuine, kind and funny
    - strong sense of camaraderie and pride in the product
    - crazy stuff happens in the office (elaborate company-wide pranks, etc.)
    - no set PTO policy means you can take as much vacation as you need/want as long as you keep your stuff together

Cons- tremendous amount of pressure on salespeople
    - your attention is pulled in umpteen directions by various initiatives
    - long hours (not required, but hard to avoid as a function of how much you have to do and the nature of the product)

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep it inclusive! Newer employees find it hard to break into the "inner circle." While nicknames and inside jokes are fun, care should be taken by managers to not favor their friends.

    Thrilling

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

ProsFlexible, adaptable, and a great example of what the "new corporate" should and I think eventually will be. Gone are the egos of the Corporation, and present is everyone's commitment to being part of something bigger than themselves.

ConsOverwhelming pace, no 401K company match.

Great Place to Work with a Wonderful Atmosphere and Fun People

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

ProsIt is very fast paced and the people around make the work day go quickly.
    The pay is definitely competitive
There is no specific dress code, able to wear what you are comfortable in
Get to feel like you are part of something bigger like a whole movement
Given enough responsibility to feel like you are an important part of the machine
The unlimited paid time off! (Don't abuse it, don't lose it)
My boss completely understands that we all have lives outside of work and respects that
    Benefits package is pretty awesome

ConsBecause we are growing so rapidly, there can be confusion sometimes
Not always sure where the day will take you but that is also one of the best things..

Advice to Senior ManagementMake sure you are always keeping your employees in 'the know'

ProsBest work atmosphere you'll find today, solid pay, great chance to work with a top company in it's respective industry

ConsHighly competitive which isn't necessarily a bad thing but can lead to high levels of stress and frustration thus effecting job performance

Best place to work in Chicago!

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

Proswe take our jobs seriously but not ourselves

Open information sharing and constant collaboration with all levels of organization

ConsSome people might not like the extra hours that are sometimes necessary. With growing so rapidly, sometimes things get turned upside down and you need to be flexible.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep recognizing as many people as possible. We have great people that work here from all different backgrounds/walks of life and we need to celebrate that. Please work to keep this a meritocratic company!

    Very happy so far

Account Executive (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

ProsUnlimited vacation days- enough said. The company has enough faith in its employees to trust them to make their own decisions on how many vacation days they should be allowed.

Eccentric and fun environment- There's not telling what the next day in the office will bring. The growth of the company has been incredible since I have started. There are always amazing new ideas connected to a fun quirky sense of humor that are out there but brilliant. The atmosphere is very fun young and vibrant.

Great place to work and I would recommend this company to anyone.

ConsAs previously stated, not a lot of structure

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease continue to maintain the laid back quirky culture that its employees love. Regardless of what the future may bring for this company in terms of the constant expansion I hope that doesn't change anytime soon

Really fun with potential to grow within company!

Fact Checker (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

    ProsThe People.
The Fun Office Environment and weird stuff that happens all the time (tutu man and dramatic recreations of shitty movies at the end of company meetings).
    Ping Pong Table.

ConsA lot of folks here now so you can get lost in the masses.
Cross training in all areas of editorial=doing 4 diff. jobs and getting paid for one.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen and utilize your creative, young staff.
Pay people who do more than one job more than base salary.

    Incredible place to grow

    Sales (Current Employee) Sydney (Australia)

ProsAmazing office culture with all the tech company perks like massages, team events and vibrant office environment.
Inspiring to be part of a growing company that not only focusses on its own growth but also helps small businesses all around Australia to grow and prosper. It is great to know that my deals not only earn me commission but help business owners in my city and also help customers explore their city.
Great to see a lot of internal promotion and people growing through the ranks. We are all really young and starting our careers but it is cool to see people step into shoes one size too big and grow into them quickly.
The company focusses heavily on technology and processes, for the past year it has been hard to cope with so much change but it is starting to pay off now and the tools are super helpful.
It sounds cheesy but everyone is friends.. people know each other in different departments and we hang out as much inside the office as outside.

ConsOne of the hard things of working for a fast moving company is that it always changes. It is sometimes frustrating to cope with the change but it is usually for the better.
Some of the managers are pretty young and I wish they took more time to support their employees and not just focus on the job at hand.

Advice to Senior ManagementSenior leadership really care about the business and the employees. This business has gone through a lot over the past 3.5 years but the current leadership team are the best we have had.
They communicate a lot, sometimes it even feels like too much, but it is great that they constantly share wins and losses and our strategy going forward. It helps us to all work together.
