    Good Company, Slow Growth

    Store Manager (Current Employee)

ProsI like the people that I work with and the way they lay out everything for you. You are also able to switch a few things up when it is not working for your specific store.

ConsHaving to work weekends, but also 2 closing shifts. Whenever corporate are supposed to come visit the always bail on us. We are the factory store so we do get treated worse than all others. They do a lot for the retail stores and we just kind of hang in the background.

Advice to Senior ManagementBust your butt so that you can move up faster. Do not stop trying because once you do they will find a way to let you go.

Great overall experience! Passionate people work for this company.

    Store Manager (Current Employee)

ProsStructure and organization, Loyal employees, internal promotions,. If you are in management then you will have great benefits. Otherwise-as an associate it's a great job for someone who wants growth and development in retail. Be willing to put in the work to prove yourself.

ConsWork-life balance. Constant changes that can be difficult. Hours for associates are based on sales per hour. If you cannot sell you won't get any hours. No commission. Heels encouraged so your feet will hurt.

Advice to Senior ManagementEnsure you have great partnership with your SM and DM.

    Loved working for this company

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsIt's fun, has good energy, always felt it had a people first vibe (most days). There is a strong sense of loyalty found within the company, both to the brand and to it's people.

ConsWhile most upper management was pretty fair, there was some politics that got in the way sometimes. You could actually feel the tension between some upper management and their direct reports during meetings or corporate visits at times. It should be about results, not personalities.

Wonderful working experience but a change in management gave the job a few pitfalls

Sales Associate (Former Employee) Oakbrook Terrace, IL

ProsWonderful employees and some very thoughtful managers and assisant managers.
Not much way of personal growth. Office culture is very relaxed if you do what you are told. Management was not only friendly and made you feel like you fit in but was also aware of your situation at all times and made it fairly simple to become personal with. Family type of feeling.

ConsChange in location caused a few problems, wished that the alarm didn't make it so awkward to do your job.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake sure employees have independence because they know what they are doing.

    Satisfactory

Sales Associate (Former Employee) Santa Clara, CA

ProsGreat management at my store. Give you product knowledge. Teach you how to be good at sales. Great team work. Flexible hours/work with school schedule and changes. You can grow with the company and ask to be promoted.

ConsVery pushy with their numbers, like every couple of minutes they would remind us that we needed to sell sell sell. I hate that we had to work in heels. That is the worst ever. They should really change that part of the dress code

Advice to Senior ManagementChange the heels requirement!
