I worked at Gulfstream Aerospace as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Most of the people you find at Gulfstream are team players. Especially as an intern it is great having someone that is there helping you out from the start. There training is great and they offer more training depending in your area. It's a great company if you are working full-time and want to get your Masters. They will help you pay for it and they offer courses that would be through Embry-Riddle. Great company all together, I hope I have another to opportunity to work for them.

    Cons

I think there could be more consistency with the quality (end result of the plane) of the work on the floor. I don't know what they need to do as a company to make sure that their employees are manufacturing their planes to Gulfstream standards, but I think there is room for improvement.

    Pros

Totally care about you as an individual and employee

    Cons

Office space. Office cubicles in Savannah, the BTC, are not conducive for productivity. Too many cubes are open and multiple voices overlap each other. No phone privacy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ptrovide 21st century working environment. Enclosed cubicles.

I have been working at Gulfstream Aerospace as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

I joined Gulfstream for a summer internship. I was out of state so I was offered corporate housing in a GREAT place by the company for the entire duration of the internship. The internship experience was also awesome. It started slow with practice and tutorials but once I learned some of the design tools used by the company, I started real work. I did pretty much the same work that other entry level engineers did, and so I am proud to say that my designs are actually used on the production aircraft. The work environment was super fun and super supportive. People were super laidback, and welcoming. I looked forward to work everyday. The internship was an IDEAL internship that any intern would expect to get. I would love to go back to this company at this site.

    Cons

I couldn't find any during my 3 months working there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the good work.
