The first few years were great. Then a total turn around. Morale is non-existant.

Process Associate (Current Employee)
Lincoln, AL

I have been working at HMA (Honda Manufacturing of Alabama)

ProsPay and benefits are o.k., But have not increased in much in about seven years. There isn't many pros to working at Honda anymore. Honda has kept people working during the economic downturn. I think they only do this as a smoke-screen to make themselves look good in the media. They have withheld enough raises and bonuses from the workers to pay for this.

ConsTry working 2 week rotatiing shifts for 10 years. Workers have begged Honda to change this set-up with no success. I believe the company is trying to get rid of full time workers and fill the positions with temporary workers.Skilled workers are leaving as fast as they can. Morale is non-existant. Honda has not replaced a lot of the workers that have left and upped the workload of all associates.

Advice to Senior ManagementWe started out as a great company. Honda tries to say their motto is to Respect the individual and they somewhat did the first two years, but they are far from that now. Wake up management. Honda is going downhill.and it's not because of the workers.
