    Great Solid Company

Work At Home Customer Service (Former Employee) Nashville, TN

ProsHSN has a generous employee discount which can be dangerous if you are a shopaholic. Benefits are great and time off is more than I had with any other company.

ConsUsually work at home scheduling is evenings with mandatory weekends, so if you have small children or evening activities this may not be the place for you. You have to work hard to achieve work-life balance.

Advice to Senior ManagementPay attention to the hard workers more and allow more flexibility.

ConsThere are no full-time WAH positions in Florida.

    It's Fun Here!

Model (Current Employee) Saint Petersburg, FL

ProsFlexibility of schedule, as models work on an on call basis and they are live 24/7. Great pay, co-workers are talented and very nice.

ConsWork is not guaranteed. You can have a very busy week and then have a very slow week. Sometimes, they just don't need a model for presentations.

You really can earn a decent living, working from home.

HSN Work At Home Sales Representative (Former Employee) Roanoke, VA

ProsI was a Work at Home Sales Rep...
When I first found out that I could get a real job working from home, I was thrilled. Then I hear full benefits package..then there are upsell bonuses!! (loved-loved) Add to that, the employees can come in and shop twice a year for a fraction of the cost..It was an amazing experience the whole time for me. I also loved how there would be meetings that if we went we would be "on the clock" and we would leave with bags of goodies. They did so much for the employees, I just can't say enough!
They offer buddy trades if you need to take unexpected time off. Or you can help someone out while earning a few more dollars.
You can "go to work" in your pjs! There is a very extensive training program (that they pay you for) But it really prepares you to be a professional, and handle calls efficiently.
Another important factor for me, was that everyone seemed like such a big happy family. I know HSN is huge, but when you are training with your group, or coming in for meetings, everyone had love for each other. A closeness, like a family. It was really special.
**I wish i bought stocks when I first started employment** They've practically doubled!

ConsThere is only one thing I can say...in order to be a work from home rep, you need to live within one hour and be in the correct area code. Sadly, I had to leave when our family moved outside of this bracket. I loved my job, but could no longer be employed since I'm "out of the area".

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease allow dedicated workers that live outside of the 1 hour bracket to still work for the company. Please find a way!!! (540) is the whole left side of VA, practically!

    Work at Home Sales agent

WAH Sales/Service Representative (Current Employee) Tampa, FL

ProsThe convenience of helping customers buy things they want and not need the key to this position. The place is littered with people who have been working here for 15 plus years. They do a great job of trying to accommodate everyone. But it is a job and you must work hours in the range you pick. For me being part time I get 20 paid days off and a lot of opportunities to buddy trade your schedule.

ConsNot much chance of making a ton of money.
