I worked at HTC Global Services as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good pay, benefits, etc. Flexible hours and holidays.

    Cons

Non-American based company. Doesn't stand behind their employees. Treats employees like mushrooms and not let us know about what is happening with contractual employment, leaves you hanging to the edge of your seat not knowing if you have a job come June of each year.

    Advice to Management

    Hire more American citizens.

    Cons

Infrastructure at MEPZ is not employee friendly. Pay scale is very bad. I will not prefer anybody to join the company.

    Advice to Management

Please provide good infrastructure to employees rather cutting down on the building cost

I worked at HTC Global Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This company sponsors H1B visa for outside candidates in India since they don't have good any talent pool within their company.

    Cons

    1) False promises: HTC recruits candidates by giving lot of false promises for the candidates who are joining. For e.g: they recruit outside candidates saying that they will make you travel immediately. But then, candidates have to wait in Offshore for 2 - 3 years to get some onsite Opportunity. 2) Labor bond: They normally put labor bond in jobs. Even though, it is not appropriate in US, they are willing to do it. 3) Zero Quality: It is funny about the type of the projects they handle. Most of the projects are of very low standards. Lot of employees are highly incapable. It is amazing to see the quality of the freshers. They recruit freshers from some unknown colleges, whoever is having arrears, whoever is jobless for many years. They pay them very less, put bond for many years and make them sit at company for many years. 2) Zero Ethics: This company doesn't have any ethics at all. HRs and Managers are uncultured, they don't know how to treat their fellow employees. They will ask you to pay for H1b application fee: I presume, no good company will do it. 3) No Brand name: It doesn't have any good brand name. When I got offer letter rolled out, I was literally searching for the existence of the company. No one has heard about it. 4) No policies are defined in this company. Everything is case to case basis. You have to bargain with HR & Managers for the basic needs. 5) When you are not satisfied with the company and want to move out. They will be rude and threaten you to pay money, they won't giving relieving letters, won't give good feedback e.t.c 4) Very low compensation. No performance based bonus. No benefits.

    Advice to Management

Wake up guys. You are in the modern world. Get exposed to outside world. Try to learn from other good employees who join your company. Be motivated and be ambitious. Learn the business ethics. Treat the employees in a fair manner. Implement Open door policy. Grow up: Develop a positive attitude. Employees are not slave for you! Remember that they can also start a company one day, become big personalities.

I have been working at HTC Global Services full-time

    Pros

    1) Nothing 2) Nothing 3) Nothing 4) Nothing 5) Nothing

    Cons

I joined this hopeless organization after my H1B visa was picked up in the lottery. They initially told me that I would be traveling in 2-3 weeks.. Then as that date approaches they would tell you that you will surely be traveling next month but trust me that travel is never going to happen. They have a very cleverly written bond which states that you have to work for 2 years after you travel but never states when you have to travel. The HR team is filled with bluff-masters and sadists who are never going to help you once you join at offshore. They only have a few clients in the US and they don't look out for new clients either. So the probability of your travel is very very very very less and you will end up in offshore and your career will be screwed up like anything. Finally they will ask you to pay the bond amount and leave the company. So never trust the Recruitment guys. No salary hike. All the reviews here about how H1B candidates are treated is very very true. There is no brand value here and if you have been working in good reputed companies, think well before you join this hopeless, unprofessional and horrible organization and screw up your career.

    Advice to Management

Please don't screw up the careers of talented people with onsite dreams. I will never ever recommend this company even to my enemy.

Nothing. See my old review for pros

    Cons

They just terminated 11 employees from development team as there's no project in the company. The reason they gave is not acceptable. They were told that they're average performers. I know all of them . 6 of them were toppers in all the projects they were allocated.

    Advice to Management

Get more projects or close the company for good. Don't run company only with support projects

I have been working at HTC Global Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There is nothing that I can think of as a pro as almost everything in this company is a con. The only pro is that they would process H1B visa for external candidates but even that is fake and just to make sure that they onboard you at their offshore location.

    Cons

Almost everything here is a downside. They hire people with niche skill for US onsite opportunity and promise to onboard you at their US Client locations once your visa is approved. Once you join them at offshore you will be asked to work on some offshore project till you find a client in US, but that will never ever happen as they have very very few clients in the US. So they process your visa just to make sure that you join them at offshore since they cant convince people with niche skill to join this useless organization at offshore so easily. Never trust the TCMG Recruitment team. They would give so many false statements just to make sure that you join them but none of those things will be true. You will be sitting at offshore for years and even if you go talk to them about the promises that were made before joining, they would say that they are just recruiters and a different team will handle this. Here comes the worse part. They will not offer you any salary hike for joining at offshore. Even if you ask them they will say that you will be at offshore only for a few weeks and will be traveling soon so why do you need a hike for that, but the reality is that you would sitting at offshore for years together with the same salary. You are not eligible for any appraisal as you are a Consultant. You cannot take any leaves and all your leaves will be considered as LOP. Do not expect any other benefits or allowances from here. They expect you to beg for each and every thing. There are no proper defined policies here. You will be asked to pay for the Visa stamping fee (Do you think any good organization would ask you to do that?). Working at offshore is even worse. Most of the people at offshore have a 3 year bond with the company. You will be forced by managers to work on night shifts even if you are not comfortable with it. Can you imagine an organization that wants their employees to work without Microsoft Office as they have to pay for the license. Yes you will using some free tools for accessing mails too. You need approvals from managers even for basic internet access. Don't waste your career here in this useless company even if you are offered a H1 visa because you will be working at offshore only.

    Advice to Management

Please don't cheat and spoils the careers of people by giving them onsite hopes and train your TCMG team to speak some truth as well.
