I have been working at Hallmark full-time

    Pros

If you're an artist or writer you get paid well with benefits for your creative content.

    Cons

The greeting card market's continuing to shrink.

    Advice to Management

Focus on your core customers' tastes, not your own or those of everyone who works as an artist or manager in your company.

    Pros

I loved, loved working as an outside sales rep for this company. All the management and staff were wonderful to work with. Sales meetings were fun, lots of promotions for our mdse we were selling, thus opportunities for some sales contests. Regular conference calls, so timely info was passed on to all the sales reps. Great response from all the staff and managers when you had questions or problems. I miss working with them!

    Cons

That they couldn't keep the Party Division going with what was going on with the competition and the licensing.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great job! I miss all you guys!

I have been working at Hallmark full-time

    Pros

We have great loyal customers who return for all family occasions. Therefore we watch families grow and share in their memories. Awesome place to work

    Cons

Since this is a retail business, all holiday occasions are very hectic. Since product for any holiday has to go out weeks before to make early shoppers happy, when the holiday arrives an employee is very tired of it.

    Advice to Management

Continue to make products that makes family memories. Make more products/cards for non-traditional families. Thanks for being a great place to work.
