    Pros

Awesome manager, supportive staff. Schedule is very flexible and allows for time to take college courses.

    Cons

2nd and 3rd shift you are on your own for all but a couple of hours.

I worked at Hampton Inn full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Friendly co workers and supervisors.

    Cons

The people, including managers were very nice but, the hardest working people, chambermaids, laundry and food workers, are paid min. wage. Without these people the front desk and managers wouldn't have a hotel to run.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Examine the salary scale and you will get quality workers if you pay a little more.

    Pros

Very friendly ambience. No pressure. Easy job. Easy hospitality system.

    Cons

Do not pay very well. And do not encourage you to do more for to get extras money. I can not complain because is easy job and very nice people. But I will be glad if the company recognize you if you work hard and do more than you need to do.

The Hampton Inn was an OK place to work.

Former Employee - Front Desk Agent

I worked at Hampton Inn part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The Hampton Inn offered some great employee perks, such as staying at a Hilton property at a discount. The managers were very nice and helped you with whatever you needed.

    Cons

There wasn't a designated lunch break and sometimes had to be the only one working in the hotel after a certain time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be a manager on duty at least until 11pm.

    Pros

This job has a lighthearted work environment with a decent amount of independence . There are .many opportunities for advancement

    Cons

Despite the fact of the light hearted environment working the night shift can get taxing, espicially if you are going to school or have a second job.

I worked at Hampton Inn full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The upper mgmt is stable, however one of the owners is also the mgmt company and I think the decisions are to personal.

    Cons

This will be no surprise but as in any hotel the lesser employees work for minimum wage although they probably work the hardest.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire quality people at a decent wage, and step back and let those quality people do what they do best.
