Fast Food company, pretty much the same as any other.

Crew Member (Current Employee) Knoxville, TN

ProsIf you work really hard, they give you hours. Half price food. Time and a half for Thanksgiving hours worked, and double pay for Christmas. Management gets bonuses.

ConsIt's a grease pit. No management opportunites for ex-offenders. No structured pay raise schedule for crew members.

Advice to Senior ManagementAs much emphasis is put on employees to mark dates and times for product quality, no time mark is in place to make sure that employees get lunch breaks. When I first started I was REQUIRED to take a 30 min off the clock lunch during a 3 hour shift. Now at least once a week I am NOT ALLOWED to take a 30 min off the clock lunch during an 8 hour shift. I have worked over 10 hours in a day and not had one. This is illegal in the state of Tennessee.

    Susceptible to small-town drama

    Manager (Current Employee)

ProsTypical managerial work. Learn the expected procedures, follow the rules, and you can make a steady, albeit small, paycheck.

ConsLow salary for entry-level management. Very strict procedures concerning inventory, drive-through reporting, etc. Long training program a bit too far away from home. District and regional managers that were very hard to respect.

    a great part time job!

Hardees General Labor (Current Employee) Wake Forest, NC

Prosexcellent written procedures works well when used properly customers can get great food quickly and friendly if used properly.

Consrestaurants have procedures posted as tools for management as well as employee, but it rarely seem to come together and flow

Advice to Senior Managementcan be super restaurant has awesome food but takes to long to deliver product to customer due to management lack of focus in most cases, I dont usually blame the employees as it is managements job to manage. Would like to see managers trained better before getting positions, and perhaps take some sort of time management coarse, they are wasteing your money! also notice poster in back of store with 1800 number would like company to create policy about bullying

    Shift leader at hardees

Shift Leader (Current Employee) Chester, VA

ProsEasy job really, you don't have to do the slave work, but you can if you want. you are paid to manage and supervise.

ConsCompletely unorganized. The upper management is completely well, ignorant.

Advice to Senior ManagementFollow through with the promises made to employees, like for example, if you tell him/her you will have them fully trained within a month, then do it! do not just blow it off more and more and pretend it isn't there.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
